IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

2. Personal information collected

Our site uses allows persons to request information, be placed on a mailing list, and/or make a charitable gift. The registration form requires visitors to give us contact information that may include name, e-mail address, format preference (HTML vs. text), address, interests, and similar information. We also collect financial information (such as an account or credit card number) in the online donation form. This information is used to fulfill visitor requests and process donations. The visitor's contact information also is used to get in touch with the visitor when necessary. For example, we might have a question about the processing of a donation. If a visitor so requests, we may use the contact information to send the visitor additional information about Mercy. We do not request or store sensitive information from our visitors, such as credit card or social security numbers.

Visitors may opt-out of receiving future mailings (see the choice/opt-out section below). The personally identifiable information we collect is not used for any purposes other than processing of donations and dissemination of information.
