Annual Symposium
The
Friend of Parish Nursing Award
The
Friend of Parish Nursing Award was first given this year
to two special women who have been an invaluable support
to our ministry, giving selflessly of their time and
talents.
Sr.
Patricia Mary Hespelein, RSM, Vice President of Mission
Integration, Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, received the
Friend of Parish Nursing Crystal Cup from Joy Burt
Conti, past manager of the program.
Nancy
Campbell Marshall received the Friend of Parish Nursing
Crystal Cup from Dorothy Mayernik, program manager.
Nancy has volunteered hundreds of hours in developing
several data bases for our programs.
Mercy
Award in Health Ministry
Sandra Janaszek received a $25 check from manager
Dorothy Mayernik for the interactive teaching bulletin
board she developed for the parish nurse ministry at her
church, North Shenango Presbyterian Church in Westford,
PA.

Recognition of Service
Joy
Burt Conti received an engraved crystal pitcher from
manager Dorothy Mayernik, in appreciation for her ten
years as manager of the program.
