Our goal is to help you achieve your goals. You may wish to practice primary care internal medicine, to seek a fellowship in one of the subspecialties of internal medicine, or to experience just one year of
training as a prerequisite to a residency in another field. In any event, we strive to conduct our programs in a manner which will facilitate the achievement of your professional potential so you will excel in your subsequent activities, whatever they may be.
The Department of Medicine provides a three-year internal medicine residency
program. In addition, the Department provides administrative support for the
Transitional Year residency program, available to individuals needing a clinical
base year prior to entering a residency in another specialty.
